Pastor Don and Nomsa Phillips
Pastor Don Phillips along with pastor Nomsa Phillips are the senior pastors of RUCC Ministries.Pastor Don and Nomsa Phillips are both very passionate about ministry and together have been pastoring since 1989. Under their leadership, the church has built a 6 500-seater auditorium, a first of its kind in the region and has gone on to plant 26 daughter churches all across South Africa. The church is affiliated with the International Federation of Christian Churches (IFCC whereby Pastor Don serves on the executive board as one of its senior executive members.

Pastor Don Phillips
Pastor Don Phillips is a well renowned leader with a vast impact in the region, country and internationally. With a strong passion for church planting with the intention of evangelizing and winning people over to Christ. He goes beyond the pastoral role, he advocates for community building through encouraging business development, agricultural development, skill building and empowering congregants to strive for the best. Pastor Don is a charismatic and faith-driven preacher whose messages stir hearts and inspire transformation. His sermons leave listeners with a deep yearning to live a life fully aligned with God’s will, challenging them to grow spiritually and walk boldly in their faith.
A visionary leader, Pastor Don is known for pushing boundaries and refusing to let circumstances dictate outcomes. He consistently encourages others to rise above limitations, pursue excellence, and trust God wholeheartedly in the journey toward achieving greatness.
Pastor Nomsa Phillips
Pastor Nomsa Phillips is a devoted teacher of the Word and an eloquent speaker with a deep passion for discipleship. She spearheads the Sarah’s Daughters women’s ministry under RUCC Ministries nationwide, where she is committed to equipping women to grow spiritually and live purpose-driven lives.
With a strong and diverse background in education, Pastor Nomsa brings clarity, structure, and practical insight to her preaching and teaching style. Her ministry is marked by a passion for empowering people from all walks of life to become effective in prayer and grounded in the consistent study of the Word.
She is especially devoted to teaching women the importance of developing skills that enrich every area of life—spiritually, personally, and professionally. Through her guidance, women are inspired to embody the virtues of a modern-day Proverbs 31 woman: confident, capable, faith-filled, and impactful in society through their God-given gifts and talents.
