RUCC Bible School was born out of a Vision that God gave Pastors Don and Nomsa Phillips multiple years ago, to raise men and women who will be well trained in the Word of God and serve their communities with this knowledge and added skill.

According to Pastor Don, one of the challenges faced by people who are called into ministry from rural areas is that when they go to big cities to study, after receiving their Bible school education, many of them are attracted to the city lights. And statistics have shown that most never return to fulfill God’s purpose for their lives. This is where the desire to start a Bible School was birthed. An opportunity for people from this region to receive quality training among their people, within their context and within the setting that allows them grow into their calling under credible leadership.

God supernaturally brought the vision to pass with the unique partnership that RUCC has entered into with the South African Theological Seminary. This partnership allows students to be trained within their own communities without leaving their jobs, families and within the context of their local church.South African Theological Seminaries offers a diverse, dynamic, solid theological, Christ centered, Bible based curriculum which allows students to study from the certificate level in theology up to a doctorate degree. Using the SATS curriculum has brought RUCC Bible School the advantage of riding on the wings of a fully accredited, academically sound, spirit guided, bible based and Christ centered organization of International repute.
