Pastor Don and Pastor Nomsa Phillips are the Senior Pastors of RUCC Real Life Ministries that is based in Mthatha, Eastern Cape, South Africa. They are both very passionate about ministry and together have been pastoring since 1989. Under their leadership, the church has built a 6 500-seater auditorium, a first of its kind in the region and has gone on to plant 26 daughter churches in nearby village communities including 1 in Gauteng Province and 1 in Western Cape and Port Elizabeth. RUCC Real Life Ministries is affiliated with the International Federation Of Churches (IFCC) with Pastor Don serving in its national executive board as one of its senior executive members.
Pastor Don is passionate about church planting, evangelism, and the development of nearby communities with various forms of developmental outreaches. Pastor Nomsa supports Pastor Don, her husband, and complements him very well. Pastor Nomsa has a very big heart for children, youth, and ladies of all age groups. God has called her to lead Intercession, Youth and Ladies’ ministry. She often draws and shares more from her own life experiences.
Pastor Don and Pastor Nomsa have been married for almost 40 years and are blessed with 3 children and 2 grandchildren.
